I want to be a Princess!

Okay so I am moving in all of 4 months! woohoo I have mixed emotions, but overall I need to move on to bigger and better things then Albany. Anyways I'm completely OBSESSED with the idea of decorating my own place...and since my roommate is majoring in interior design its a little slice of heaven! Anyways for room Ideas this is what has been inspiring me! Now I feel like I can get away having a few modern pieces in my room, but I just love the look and comfyness of shabby chic. The top picture is the duvet cover I bought at target, from the shabby chic collection they designed for target. I'm so excited to get accent pieces to go with the color scheme and theme. I just want my room to be relaxing and colorful. My current room is mostly white with pops of hot pink. I just want something more adult that I can have for a long time & being on a college student budget its easier to find less expensive antique unique pieces for my room, than brand new things for my room.

Foundation

Ah Foundation! Something I can't live with out. These items are what I put on my face daily! Let me first explain my history with foundations, I have been on again off again with liquid but for the past year or so I have been hooked. I have tried mineral powders, there great an all, but I just really seem to like the way liquid foundation sinks into my skin and lasts all day. Some of my favorite high end liquid foundations are Chanel pro lumiere and Make up forevers HD foundation.
BUT!
My view on liquid foundations is this a foundation is only as good as its setting powder! SO if you want to save money I would buy a fair quality foundation at a lesser price and a good setting powder.
Revlon Photo Ready is my favorite drugstore foundation. I refuse to buy anything else (at the drugstore). I ran out and was forced to use maybellines mousse foundation (which I hate because it turns my skin yellow and doesn't last) and I basically cried and had to run to the drugstore to get my Revlon. Anyways I think this foundation is very very VERY comparable to Make up forevers HD because of the coverage and lasting power. Now the Chanel is my favorite, but its extremely pricy, so I only get it if I have the money to splurge on it and the Chanel has more of a matte finish than the Revlon.

Likes:

-Shades and ranges of color
- Consistancy
- Coverage (medium coverage, build-able)
- Flawless applications (no streaks)
- Dewy finish
- lasting power- stays all day when using a setting powder.

Dislikes:

- Sparkles, If you are in direct sunlight with no powder over it you will have an Edward Cullen sheen to you!

Overall:

I would recommend this foundation to anyone!

Mac MSF Natural HOLY GRIAL PRODUCT

This powder is my life I have gone through 10 or more of these, it is the best powder I have ever used. It can also double as a foundation. I use it over every foundation to insure that it will stay on all day and look flawless. It's on the higher end side at $28, but you can buy a cheaper foundation and still look as flawless as if you had an expensive one. Overall I will most likely be buying this product for as long as they make it.

Make Up Forever HD Powder

I like this also all three of these products together make for a flawless face that lasts! ( I go to the gym and my make-up doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't helps the MAC powder stay in place so there is no transfer of powder from your face to clothes. This product is pricy but it last forever so I think its worth it.

New Products & Thoughts

So last week I was browsing the Make-up isles of Wal-mart, during my school break and I came across this little JEM! I have been reading a lot about Hard Candy lately, and they have been getting a ton of great reviews. I own two lipsticks from this brand an I am in love with them. They have great pigment and aren't drying. Anyways I have been wanting to try there baked blush and glow highlighter for some time now and when I found this I knew it was fate! Four products for 8 dollars can't beat it!
It includes:

Sheer envy face primer- which is great for the money the 6oz one retails for $8.00 and its a great primer. I currently have a redness reducing clinique one and I hate it. So I'm so excited to have this one...It also doesn't break the bank

Glow All the Way- highlight I really like this you only need a drop. They sell the large one but I felt like it would take me years to use it up. This is a dupe for benefits highbeam. Its puts a beautiful sheen on your face and it stays all night.

Baked Blush- Living doll is the color. This is a PINK barbie like blush. I adore pinks so it works for me but for some who don't like to be as bold with blush you could use a light hand and still get good color pay off.

Plumping Serum- baby pink lip gloss, no color name though. This gloss is very sheer. I think it would look good over pale pink like MACs Pretty Please or even maybe over a nude. Does it plump? I'm not sure it tingles a bit but not that burn some lip plumpers give off.

Final thoughts:
I think Hard Candy really gives a good name for drugstore make-up, they have good color payoff and great prices. I would totally repurchase these products in the full size.
